Google Results

The first results that popped up for the name 'Kristina Tuminaro' are my Facebook page, my softball stats page from my high school, as well as an article about my school's softball team in which I am mentioned, my Girl Scout records and promotion ceremony, swim stats from when I did competitive swimming from ages 5-8, an article about my being in honor roll, as well as another article detaling my induction into National Honor Roll. There is also a mention in the obituaries, naming myself and my family as the descendents of my grandpa, who died last spring after a three year battle with prostate cancer.

I actually think that this is a very good thing for my future eemployers to see. It adequately shows off my various skills and assets, and also reveals a little about myself for them to identify with me. With my Facebook page being the very first result, I think that employers would click that first, as people's Facebook pages are very revealing. I think that means I should be a little more careful about my status updates, but other than that, I am very satisfied with the results that show for this.

  1. I think that's a good decision (being more careful about your Facebook updates). Otherwise, it sounds like anyone who googles you gets a good introduction.
